The Pearl

I can't believe I didn't upload this bad boy!
Another comic for ANOTHER class at college. We had to come up with short 15-panel comic based off folklore. I went with Steinbeck's The Pearl (not exactly folklore, but classic literature, ayy!) and set it in the future on one of Jupiter's moons. It ends on a cliffhanger, but if you want to know what would happen at the end, just read the novella it's based off of! It's not really a happy ending, though!
I hand-drew the panels, mostly with brushes, calligraphic pens, and india ink. Lettering, halftone and colour was done in photoshop. Enjoy!
